The World's Racist Standard Of Beauty: Overview

What is the ''standard of beauty'' and why is it racist?

The World's standard of beauty seems to be that of a Tall Northern European with flowing hair and either pale skin or very light skin. Why is this racist? Because it excludes every other group of people in the world; are Africans, Asians, Indigenous Americans, Indigenous Australians and Polynesians with their multitude of facial features inherently ugly? If not why are they excluded from being apart of a world standard of beauty.

So many questions but rarely do you hear people answer them in our daily lives. Firstly the current standard of beauty is indeed racist or more accurately this idea that Whites are superior in terms of beauty is from the ideology developed back in the late 1500s onwards to the current day.

To be attractive you have to meet this beauty criteria:
  • Long flowing hair
  • Tall
  • Slim or recently ''size zero''
  • Thin pointy noses
  • White in complexion
  • Blue eyed
My Internet search backs this criteria up perfectly.

The first 17 images of Women below backs up the beauty criteria above, sadly literally no images of beautiful East African, South Asian or Indigenous American Women. By mainstream society these Women are deemed ugly.

The same rings true for the first images of 19 men virtually all are White or European. Again Non-European Men are not deemed attractive enough to be one of the 19 Men.

The further from this beauty standard you are the more ugly as a person you are. Don't buy into this racist beauty standard, you are beautiful no matter if you have Afro hair, curly hair, brown skin or are short.

Because of this racist/bias beauty standard you have many groups of people around the world trying their best to emulate the images above either by undertaking eye lid surgrey, Skin bleaching or other types of cosmetic manipulation.
