White Supremacy Ideology In The UK

White supremacy is a very British institution; it manifests itself into institutional racism which the Metropolitan police force in London is widely accused of being, in the UK's foreign policy and the recent Anti-Immigration rhetoric.

UK Police

The Police has been the focal point of the discussion of racism in the UK, the last high profile event was when was this case an unarmed Mixed-race young father from North London who was shot down in broad daylight. The conclusion to the case was obviously that Mark Duggan (the victim) had a hand-gun that he ''chucked into the bushes'' which apparently gives you a right to shoot down a young father of 4 Children. The Police officer got off Scot free of course, however in terms of unlawful killings of Black people the UK doesn't win the title; that title goes to the USA where 75 unarmed Black ''thugs'' were gun downed...

Alongside Murder the Police officers in the UK also enjoy engaging in texts that are racist;
''Papa Lima [Lewisham] can burn as far as I’m concerned, along with all the spades.”
''Those little Black C*** are really F*** me off if they really want to act like Monkeys why don't they F***  off to the Jungle''
These comments and slurs coming from the same Police force that shot down the Father of 4 that the rioters were rioting about, how ironic.

However the ongoing more frequent (but less severe) issue with the police is the stop and search tactics they use which disproportionately stop people of Asian and African/Caribbean backgrounds.

An article this site in November 2013 states;
In the West Midlands, black people were 29 times more likely than white people to be targeted
In the West Midlands, Asian people were six times more likely than white people to be targeted
In Thames Valley, people of mixed race were 10.4 times more likely than white people to be targeted
Those statistics are diabolical bearing in mind the West Midlands are 10% Asian, 3% African/Caribbean respectively, while the Thames valley population of mixed race peoples are probably (an estimate) around 1% of the population if that.

Fast forward to 2015 and African/Caribbean people are still way more likely to be stopped and searched compared to other ethnic groups in the UK. According to this article Dorset has the most racially bias Police officers as African/Caribbean people are 17 times more likely to be stopped and searched than their White counterparts even though the Southern English county is home to only 3,500 African/Caribbean people!
