According to American presidential candidate Donald Trump Immigrants are bringing down the United States he frequently proclaims that he wants to make the US ''Great Again'' but my question is who does Trump want America great for?
Certainly not marginalised racial groups..
Much of Donald Trump's target audience are White working class Americans that feel disenfranchised by the left feeling that the establishment are trying to destroy the US in favour of Muslims, LGBT people, African-Americans and immigrants.
When he states ''I want to make America great again'' I doubt he's going to make America great again for the Native Americans a group that is so under-represented by American media that you'll think that they all died hundred of years ago even though there's some 3 million Americans of indigenous descent. The vast majority of this group live in 3rd world like conditions in so called ''reservations'' these reservations are not owned by Indigenous Americans but the White American federal government in Washington, DC. In the Standing rock reservation 43% of the population live in poverty that makes the poverty rate worse than India, Brazil and Jamaica.
Will Trump help the #Blacklivesmatter activists who are seeking to well, make Black lives matter? Will he bring to attention the gross inequalities between Black Americans and White Americans? I highly doubt he will and I highly doubt the media will start airing attacks that are targeted at Black Americans either, like the attack on these two black sibling which happened a year ago now but I only find out about this diabolical white supremacist led terrorist attack yesterday.
So Donald Trump who are you going to make America great for?
